BA (Hons) Fine Art: Painting
Balance. Futility. Precariousness. In my practice I investigate what it is to be human. I attempt to communicate this through imagery from the imagination via observation. This is often represented by minimalist/abstracted representations of the human form and the motif of balance and precariousness. . Figures are often situated in various forms of precariousness to signify a certain level of hopelessness and absurdity within our existence. Through creating sculptural shapes and forms through the medium of paint, I attempt to create an empathetic dialog between the work and the viewer, communicating the language of vulnerability, and vicariously instil the reminder of mortality. http://cargocollective.com/marvinaaronturner
