BA (Hons) Fashion Design Technology: Womenswear
"I shall not speak of the nameless / but show them to you / how different they are / and how beautiful." from "What is man?" by Walter Kauffmann My interest in fashion is parallel with my interest in human nature. Fashion is necessary to culture and something that we use to represent who we are and what we believe in. By taking inspiration from cultures and religions from the East and West, both modern and traditional - my work explores the growing trend of cosmopolitanism and emphasizes the integration, differences, similarities and overall the equality of people. _____________________________ Lookbook shoot Photographer: roberta davies schmidt MUA: Rieko Kinoshita Hair: Rachel Marsh Model: yolanda @ profile _____________________________ ISKO Project Credits: Project âDesign Denimâ supported byâ ISKO⢠Photography, James Rees Creative Direction, Rob Phillips Beauty, Pace Chen Model, Gemma at Select work experience: may 2012 - aug 2012 / Studio Intern / ThreeAsFour / New York sept 2011 / Dresser at LFW / Marios Schwab / London sept 2010 - jan 2011 / Emrboidery Intern / Alexander McQueen / London june 2010 - sept 2010 / Studio Intern / Fanny & Jessy / London aug 2009 - sept 2009 / Studio Intern / Giles Deacon / London _________________________________________________ contact: email chris.jayne.mckay@gmail.com
