MA Fashion Design Technology Womenswear
This MA collection for Autumn Winter began with the idea of living off the land and the land of others, leading to a deeper exploration in the shadows of overlapping histories and the seemingly romantic lure of the exotic beyond one's own fences. This narration, combined with further investigation into the codes of haute couture, inspired rich textile development and creative pattern cutting focused on subtle shape manipulations and deceptive ease. --- I believe in the power of nuanced and detailed design, concealing layered development, architectural construction, and engineered details that reveal themselves to those who take the time to look, and then might look twice...
