BA (Hons) Fashion Contour
Designer specializing in Contour Fashion, with an interest in innovative Ethical and sustainable practice within the industry. The graduate collection takes inspiration from the concept of time and itâs fragile qualities. The collection will explore the concept of what time has brought and what it will bring. It will delve into how the power and meaning of femininity changes with time, the poignancy of becoming a women and her connection with her body. The collection seeks to display how delicate structures and layering build powerful and beautiful exteriors, that although different from their origin can often end up just as, if not more, beautiful than when it began. As a designer I am heavily inspired by the feminine. From the physical aspects to the spiritual connection women have with the natural planet. I work with heavy acknowledgement towards the importance of carrying out work in a responsible manner and feel it is important to use fibres, materials and techniques which are innovative and sustainable.
