BA (Hons) Fashion Jewellery
London based jewellery designer Ingela Sjölund graduated from London College of Fashion (2013) with degree in BA (Hons) in Fashion Jewellery. Intrigued by the idea of âhaving your head in the cloudsâ inspired the concept of creating a collection of hair accessories, shaped as these little cloud elements. The intention of designing this collection was to create new pieces of hair accessories that have not been made before. The use of a normal hair accessory changes into wearing a beautiful and contemporary hair piece. And interlinking it with the clouds has been the main theme of this collection. All pieces in the collection are handmade, ranging from shape forming, and with different colour powder coated finish. The collection consists of metal pieces that have been bent to simulate the classic one line drawings of a cloud shape. Each piece of the collection is completely unique, in that every cloud shape is different from the other, keeping with the theme of the randomness of clouds. In addition, the pieces have been powder coated in different shades of blue to represent the colours of the sky, and to give a contrast in materials.
